If you just have a short stay in Rio we recommend you to book the guided tour "Rio in one day". You will be shown the main sights, some interesting places and the different appearances of Rio de Janeiro. The tour takes about 7 hours. It might be possible to change the tour slightly according to your special preferences.

Please consider: Some of the attractions of Rio de Janeiro can be visited on your own. It is not always necessary to book a guide or a tour. Some of the sights can be reached very easy by public transport or taxi. We listed them as "Activities". But please, keep in mind that it might be better to hire a local guide or at least a person who speaks Portuguese if you plan to enter certain areas e.g. a Favela ... A guide not only shows you the places and translates, he also can explain you some dos and don'ts and some local particularities.

Amazing view like a bird

A very special experience with impressions of an extraordinary scenery is a helicopter ride around Rio de Janeiro. There are different routes from 8 min. to one hour. There use to be a minimum of participants (like two or three people, depending on the route)
