How to rent an apartment in Rio

Please, have a look at the following indications about how to rent a flat. The rules might be slightly different according to the desired apartment or the period of the year (especially the high season around Carnival and New Year)

Check-in:

1. Decision about the holiday flat

2. payment of a deposit via bank transfer, paypal or Western Union (uses to be 30%, 50% for peak season)

3. get the confirmation of the reservation

4. information about your arrival (flight, flight number, airport, date, time ...)

5. meet in front of the building / apartment at your arrival - check-in

We will explain the details of the apartment at your arrival (e.g. how to use the internet or the air condition). You will get the keys at this time and you must pay the rest of the rental fee as well as the security deposit. You might want to join the check of the meter for gas and elictricity (mainly for long term rents, more than 3 weeks). Please, agree with us the time of your check out at this moment.

Check-out:

1. Check of the apartment and giving back the keys.

2. Get back your security deposit and leave the apartment

The charge for electricity and/or gas which you used during the stay in the apartment can be taken from the security deposit.

Please, inform us as soon as possible if you wish to have a late check-out and leave the apartment in the afternoon or later.
